Giving Tuesday is about ordinary people coming together to do extraordinary things. Save the Dunes has joined Giving Tuesday (referred to online as #GivingTuesday), a first of its kind effort that will inspire people to take collaborative action to improve their local communities and give back in smarter ways to the charities and causes they support. The movement seeks to create a national moment around the holidays dedicated to giving. Please mark your calendars and help in our efforts by making a tax-deductible donation to Save the Dunes, this year, on December 3rd.
Giving Tuesday donations will go a long way towards helping us build up momentum for major projects that are underway, including planning for the protection and improvement of the Little Calumet River’s East Branch, working with land managers and scientists to create a natural resource protection plan for the Indiana Dunes, and coordinating wildlife response trainings so that Northwest Indiana can be better prepared to respond to oil spills and other threats. We need your help to continue providing a voice for dunes, swales, prairies, rivers, wetlands, and more. Every penny counts towards continuing our meaningful work.
