Save the Dunes tours Cleveland Cliffs

Last month we had the chance to tour the facilities at the Cleveland-Cliff’s Burns Harbor Steel Mill in Northwest Indiana. As a non-profit environmental advocacy organization, transparency and connection with industry is an important element to the successful partnerships at Save the Dunes. We asked each of our staff, plus our Board President, to give quotes on how the tour impacted their scope of work at Save the Dunes. Collaboration between ecology and industry continues to be a work in progress, and we will continue to bring factual and up to date information to our communities!
